the UCB campus mission to promote the use of information
and technology on our campus via non-profit educational computing sales programs. TSW is
committed to offerring low cost technology solutions to UCB students,
faculty, staff and departments. TSW extends services to
the UCB campus community and affiliate organizations such
as UCB Extension students, LBL staff,
and the Office of the President staff, UCB Retirees, and
the Graduate Theological Union's doctoral students. Proceeds help to educate
and employ Cal students in the sales program.
- Software Central: Software Central offers software to UC Berkeley faculty, staff and students, usually as a free download. The products available through this site are made available through various campus and Office of the President's negotiated agreements. Most downloads require a CalNet ID and authentication.
- Legal Downloads: In an effort to provide legal downloading alternatives for students, UC Berkeley has negotiated favorable deals with two music services: iTunes and Ruckus. Each service has unique features and offers more than one million songs!
- Wireless Devices & Services : The TAS Wireless
Unit offers a variety of wireless products from approved University vendors.
This site will provide you with information about wireless voice services
such as Cingular, Verizon and AT&T. This service is currently
